It’s been close to a year since the pandemic has taken over and all our regular routines and time tables have changed. Nobody goes to work anymore, nobody goes to anything anymore actually. This can have a negative impact on our mental and emotional health if not kept in check and that’s exactly what we’re going to be talking about in this blog.

We human beings are social creatures and we need to interact with people to go about and get through the day for whatever reason it may be. It’s not easy for most of us to have suddenly stopped talking with and among people but it’s the way to ensure your survival amid these times. Keeping this in mind, here are some tips that may help you get through your days easier.
Keep A Time Table / Routine In Place
Have a plan of action to go about your day. Keep things in order so you know exactly where they are when you need them. Working from home shouldn’t disturb the peace and quiet of your home so do things accordingly. Try not to stay in one place for a long time. Get up every once in a while, stretch your legs and take a small walk around the house. That could be a small break to get your mind off work as well for a bit.
Stay Connected
This is especially important for those staying alone and away from home. We’re all emotionally dependent beings. So, make it a habit to keep in touch with your friends and family. It can be a great mood lifter and could relieve the stress from your day to day work as well. For those staying with someone, talk to them and try to help them by making sure they’re not taking these times too hard as well.
Have Your Workplace Set Up
Your workplace should be set up in such a way that you have everything you need around you. That way you don’t need to keep moving around all the time to get something. Also, having a designated area to work can help you focus better on work and be as efficient as you usually are.

Incorporate Some Activity Into Your Day
Being active can help in so many ways. It can be anything like going for a walk, running, doing some workouts at home etc. It helps you stay healthy physically, relieves your stress and is even proven to uplift your mood. So, whenever you feel stress or anxiety, get up and do something that makes you feel better.
This is all definitely easier said than done. It’s okay to be worn out on some days physically and mentally, everyone has those days. Keep in mind that even the hard times don’t last forever and stay positive. Only we possess the power to determine how our day should be!
