Want to lose weight? Do it the right way!

This leads to a lifelong tussle between you and that toxic diet plan you always seem to try every summer. Today, let’s talk about how to identify and avoid unhealthy ways to lose weight!
Meal plans: Yes, I’m talking about those ads you’re always tempted to try. You have an important social gathering in a few months and you want to look fit, so you’re now tempted to try the fastest weight loss program out there. You read all the raving reviews and it doesn’t seem like a bad idea right? Don’t do it. Treat your body with the respect it deserves. Work on what’s possible and healthy for your body. Cook only at home and use ingredients that fill you up on lesser calories! Ask your fitness coach about what kind of food you should stock up on. This is better than any meal plan out there.
Choosing a workout routine: Any workout routine that’s forcing you to do something you absolutely hate means it’s a short term plan. You’re never going to stick to something you hate for the rest of your life. If you hate high intensive workout plans, don’t do it for the short results. Instead, choose a medium and low intensive plan that you actually enjoy and look forward to doing. It’s proven that you’re going to stick to be, be regular at it and you’re going to achieve better results than a high-intensity plan.
Eating only diet foods: It’s the same as exercising. If you force yourself to stop eating your favorite snack/food, your diet plan is destined to fail. Ensuring you incorporate foods that you like and crave on a regular basis as part of your diet plan will help you stick to your diet plan.
Using diet pills: Stay away from them! It doesn’t matter if your favorite YouTuber swears by them or if almost everyone starts using them like everyday mints, they’re not effective so stay away from them. There is nothing more beneficial than eating protein, fiber and the required amount of carbs from home-cooked meals. Eat healthy fats in moderation and stay away from sugar or artificial sweeteners and that’s good enough. Trying to substitute any of this with pills or plans is a sure way to develop an unhealthy fitness lifestyle.

Having a bad relationship with food: If you’re eating out of boredom, stop. If you’re eating too much too many times in a day, stop. If you’re eating even though you’re obviously full, stop. If you’re overeating because you have leftovers, stop. Eating food just because it’s lying around? Stop. If you think you have a very bad relationship with foos and can’t seem to stop stress eating, maybe that’s not a food problem and you should definitely seek professional health. But if you’re over eating just because there is nothing else to do, exercising it off isn’t going to fix it! Counting your calories, including your favourite foods in your meal plans and avoiding overeating is going to the right way to getting fit!
It’s time to figure out what’s the problem area and how to fix it. Talk to your coach! Good luck!
